Hey there!
I've always enjoyed watching/reading on bloggers' and youtubers' monthly favourites, and finally I have a chance to do it myself! Well, I know that a monthly favourites post should always occur at the end of a month or the start of the next month, however, I feel like I have developed so much love for these products that there is no need for me to wait till the very end of the month to do this post.

From left to right:
1. LaLine Ocean Hand Relief Hand Cream
Like I mentioned in my previous post, LaLine will be completely exiting Singapore soon, and I wanted to buy some of their stuffs before they disappear. I told my clique about this news, and Natalie went to stock up on her LaLine products.
I met her the other day to go to SIM for application verification, and she let me try her hand cream. Thereafter, I could not stop touching my own hands (in a healthy manner, please) the whole day, and I knew I had to go get that same hand cream. I bought the exact same one that Natalie has, because I love the subtle scent, and also because it's the last scent that they are left with for the hand creams (in the PP branch). To be honest, it really doesn't smell anything like what I expect an "Ocean" scent will smell, but I'm quite sure there are hints of musk in the scent. I'm a sucker for musk scents, and hence it's given that I adore this hand cream. The hand cream does not leave behind any stickiness/greasiness.
I realized that if a very small amount is applied, the cream tends to give a drying feeling. However, if applied generously, the skin feels very moisturised for a long time.
In addition, it's on 50% off! Can't miss out on this awesome opportunity, right?
2. Elizabeth Arden Eyeshadow & Blusher palette

2. Elizabeth Arden Eyeshadow & Blusher palette
I've had this palette for a really long time but I did not realize its value until a few months ago. I generally prefer matte eyeshadows, and it is rare to come across an entire palette filled with matte shades. The browns in this palette are beyond gorgeous. My favourite shade is Apricot (4th shade from the 1st row). I use it as an eyeshadow, and also for concealing my dark eye circles. (No I'm not crazy! A post on how I use eyeshadows for concealing coming up soon!) I have yet to try the blushers because I have too much love for the blushers included in the TooFaced "Few of my Favourite Things" palette. To be honest, this picture does not do the palette any justice. I should go get a better camera soon..
3. Bath & Body Works Strawberry Parfait and Paris Amour PocketBacs
Call me silly, but I've never owned a anti-bacteria hand gel from the famous Bath & Body Works. I've heard of them before, and added them to my online shopping carts for quite a few times, but I never got around to purchasing it in the end. I don't really know why, maybe because I was not able to imagine how the sanitizers will smell by viewing them virtually. I am really fussy when it comes to fragrances, so I am always worried about buying products with fragrances online. A while back, I finally had chance to personally smell these PocketBacs and I finally understand all the craze about these little squeeze bottles. I could not resist, and bought 2 at a go along with the glittery carrier thing.
I made the boyfriend try the strawberry parfait one in the car, and gosh, the entire car smelled like strawberry icecream for the whole night, it was heavenly! The Paris Amour one is my favourite though, because it smells so refreshing! In addition these 2 sanitizers are the glittery version, which means both our hands had little specks of glitter on them, and that just added on to the fun. The boyfriend was complaining that he cannot use it because he will start smelling like a girl, and get teased for having glitters on his hands. Then I remembered that there was a Ocean scent one for men, but I wonder how that smells like...
4. MAC Cremesheen Crosswires Lipstick
I was watching Essiebutton's (Youtuber) video on her top 5 MAC lipsticks the other day, and found Crosswires very familiar. I started ransacking my makeup stash, and found my first, and only MAC lipstick - Crosswires. I no longer remember when or why I got it, but I am pleased that my taste for makeup hasn't changed much. Crosswires is a blend of pink and orange, and despite its seemingly soft look in the tube, it applies quite brightly.
I LOVEEEE lipsticks, and after owning so many of them, I can tell immediately whether a lipstick is good or bad for me. Crosswires have awesome pigmentation, is moisturizing and last for a good 4 to 5 hours on my lips (without eating). Thereafter, it leaves a beautiful stain on the lips. Most importantly, it glides like a dream over my dry & chapped lips, and never once emphasized on the dry patches.
This is my first MAC lipstick, but it will not be the last!

I had a short gathering today with my OBC girls at Brigid's 21st birthday party!
It was my first time going to her house, and out of all things I was most impressed by the attic (I didn't actually get to go up, but I got a glimpse of it and I wish I had one at home too).
However, I was not very at ease throughout the party. No, not because there were too many strangers at the party, but because of Tinsel, the dog. I was damn afraid the whole time that someone might be soften by her sad face and decides to let her out of the backyard to mingle with the humans. Tinsel is so cute but I had to keep my distance, and in the end when I was about to leave I felt slightly regretful not having the guts to at least pat her.
The theme for the party was Barbie, but we didn't come in pink/purple clothes. (Ops! Sorry Bri, I don't own any pink dresses, surprisingly..) Brigid was beautiful as always, and her family was very welcoming! However, I can see how tiring it must be to host a party because all the guests are everywhere and there were just too many people. But we had fun just pigging ourselves out at the buffet table, and then resting in her room with her very fat hamster (please give him some sunlight).
Instead of a birthday cake, her sister made her some birthday cupcakes, and they were so cute! I swear the frosting tasted way better than those sold in the stores!
Happy Birthday once again, our dear Ah Bri! Hope you had a memorable and blessed 21st! #OBC loves you!
